Everyone brings their own set of baggage to a new relationship and in Wolf Like Me, Gary (Josh Gad) and Mary (Isla Fisher) are no different. Gary is an emotional wreck and struggles to provide for his daughter since the death of his wife. Mary has a secret she can’t bring herself to share with anyone.
Ahhhh, she’s a werewolf….
Mesh Digital came on board as DIT for Cinematographer and long standing associate, Matt Toll. Both Matt and the director Abe Forsythe had a directive to make this as challenging as possible by using a very dark visual language and palette. Robust onset collaboration between our DIT and fantastic lighting teams, Sunday Lights, enabled consistency was achieved across scenes and a variety of different camera formats, and knowing what we could get at the other end in the finish. Mesh created an incredible lighting reference that all relevant departments and producers were able to access at any time keeping the information pipeline moving.
Mesh Digital supplied onset grade and dailies reference CDLs, stills as well as providing high speed large format data acquisition.
